Abstract

Background: Hand, foot and mouth disease is an infectious disease epidemics can cause intestinal virus. Objective: 1. Assessing the mother's knowledge about hand foot and mouth disease hand after examination; 2. Assessing attitudes, and behaviors of mothers with hand foot and mouth disease hand. Subjects and Methods: 150 mothers have children whom examined at examination's room, Hue Central hospital after being diagnosed with hand, foot and mouth, or chidren was treated at infectious department. Results: Number of mothers concerned about the fever, anorexia, fatigue accounted 84% of children. The mothers know about oral diseases limbs mostly from television accounted 60%. Number of mothers often do not have the habit of washing hands before feeding accounted 64.7%. Usually when the family heard a new service for cleaning of furniture and toys for children accounted 57.3%. Most mothers are concerned about hand, foot and mouth disease through Icaflets in hospitals accounted 64.7%. Conclusion: It should be consult to mothers about the disease hand, foot and mouth.
