Abstract
Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumor (GIST) is a rare malignant lesion in the digestive tract. Because the disease has no specific symptoms, a large number of patients are diagnosed at an advanced stage. At this stage, multimodal treatment combination is almost certain. However, the choice of surgery at the time of diagnosis or neoadjuvant is a question that has been raised and this is an issue that is always of great concern to clinicians. We recorded and reported 02 cases of locally advanced GIST treated at K hospital. Both cases were selected for surgery first, based on the results of pathology and immunohistochemistry to confirm the diagnosis. then received adjuvant treatment. Through these clinical cases, we have raised a number of issues, briefly reviewed this disease and reviewed the literature.
