Abstract

The waiting time is one of patient’s satisfaction indexes and it’s used to qualify the medical service. The
results return on time is a very important factor in improving waiting time.
Purpose: Determine the mean of the wating time, it’s related-factors and the rate of return test results
on time at the outpatient clinic of Hue Central Hospital 2nd branch in 2019.
Methods and Subjects: A cross-sectional study was performed with the available form. Results: The mean of waiting time was 108.7 minutes. The waiting time for examination was 40.7
minutes, with one test was 95.2 minutes, with two test was 124.6 minutes and with over 3 tests was
152.5 minutes. All indexes are right to Minwaster of Heath’s criteria. The mean wating time relates to
sexes, address, , type of dwasease. The results return on time: ESR and microboology test were 100%,
heamatology blood test was 99%, biochemical test was 98.2%, immunochemical test was 93.3%.
