Abstract
Patient satisfaction is proportional to the development and growth of the hospital. At the General Hospital of Ha Tinh province in recent years although the interaction was interested in the forms of training, the contest but still not a few complaints from patients, family members of patients, the communication problems.
Objective: Survey of patient satisfaction on communication skills of nurses to patients.
Methods: 120 patients receiving inpatient treatment, were randomly selected from the 3rd day back at the clinical department of Ha Tinh province Hospital. Method of cross-sectional descriptive study. Interview fill out satisfaction surveys of patients about the communication skills of nursing.
Results: The attitude of nurses caring welcome thoughtful patients: 50%. Nursing does not introduce their own: 60%. Nursing does not explain the administrative procedures and internal rules of the hospital was 57% and 60% of the nursing staff that were not guided and 50% nursing specific guidance on the drug.
Conclusion: The level of patient satisfaction on communication skills is no good for the majority of nurses in the clinical departments. Nurses work so seriously that few noticed the professional attitude to communication skills with patients and the patients.
