Abstract

Esophageal leiomyoma accounts for 70% to 80% of benign esophageal tumors. They are frequently located in the lower and middle third of the esophagus, and are removed surgically by thoracoscopy. We report three cases of esophageal leiomyoma in the thoracic esophagus that was successfully enucleated via thoracoscopy.
