Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the quality of life of gout patients by Question set SF 36
Methods: A cross-sectional description of a group of 102 gout-diagnosed diseases according to the American Arthritis Standard 2015 that were is being treated as an inpatient at Musculoskeletal Department of Bach Mai Hospital from 01/2019 to 08/2019.
Result: The study showed that the majority of patients with gout were men with 96.1% and mostly older than 45 years. The result showed that the quality of life in gout patients was mainly moderate (3.9%) and low (96.1%). The mean quality of life score was 40.12 ± 7.81. In conclusion, gout patients were affected significantly in both physical component summary and the mental component summary. The SF - 36 questionnaire reflects the physical component summary was better than the mental component summary.
