Abstract
Objective: To evaluate the effectiveness of thoracotomy biopsy method under Computerized tomography guide for diagnosis of primary bronchial cancer. Identify hazards and risk factors when implementing the method.
Method: A cross-sectional descriptive study of 55 patients suspected of primary bronchial cancer, at Hue Central Hospital. 2. Radiography of the lungs and chest CT with contrast injection intravenous line. Data were collected and statistics using SPSS 20.0 software.
Results: 55 patients studied squamous cell carcinoma patients accounting for 30.9%. Adenocarcinoma accounted for 58.2%. Patients with lesions in the upper lobe account for 36.4%. There were 7 stroke patients in which pneumothorax accounted for 10.9%. Coughing up blood makes up 1.8%.
Conclusion: A thoracic thoracic lung biopsy under microscopic tomography guidelines for the diagnosis of primary bronchial cancer is safe and has a low incidence of catastrophes
