Abstract

Research on quality of life (QoL) of 31 old patients (≥70 year old ), who suffered from Femoral intertrochanteric region fractures and was made with a locked anatomic plate, by using EQ-5D-5l scoring (consists of 5 domains: physical functioning; role limitations due to physical health; role limitations due to emotional problems; energy/fatigue; emotional well-being; social functioning; pain; general health) in Hue central Hospital in 2020. By longitudinal research design combined qualitative and quatitative method and showed findings: QOL of patient significantly increased at 3 stages: Hospitalization: 0,3; Discharging from hospital: 0,6 and re-examination after 1 month: 0,8 (p <0.005). Research results also affirmed above results and refer to other factors which concerned with changes in QOL, such as: patient age, rehabilitation and emotional resolution support, food supply service in hospital, consultancy of medical staff.
