Abstract

Objectives: Evaluation of mismatch repair protein expression status in some endometrial carcinoma patients in K hospital in the years of 2021 and 2022by immunohistochemical stains and recording some related clinical and pathological characteristics of those patients.

Methods: A cross - sectional study was conducted on 20 patients with endometrial carcinoma were oophorohysterectomy at Quansu High quality treatment Department, K hospital in 2021 and 2022.

Results: Percentage of MMRd was 40% (8/20 patients). The expression of these characteristics of MLH-1, MSH-2, MSH-6, PMS-2 were 20%, 5%, 5% and 35%, respectively. MMRd was not related to histological subtypes, grades and stages.

Conclusions: The rate endometrial carcinoma with MMRd is 40%. The study did not find a relationship between MMRd status and histopathological type, histological grade and stage of disease (p > 0.05).
