Abstract
Pain is a common clinical symptom in pelvis cancer patients including: colorectal cancer, cervical, ovary, metastasis. Hypogastric plexus block helps block afferent pathways of pain sensation from the pelvic region to the central nervous system, which is an effective method for relieving cancer pain. Plancarte el al(1990) first reported success in the hypogastric plexus block in surgery. Heretofore, there have been many means of support in approaching the hypogastric plexus, helping improve the efficacy of this technique. No major complication is observed. We report and discuss 3 cases of the hypogastric plexus block for treating pelvic cancer pain under computed tomography and Maxio robot guidance at Diagnostic Imaging Center of 108 Military Central Hospital.
