Abstract
Introduction: Tapies equinus is one of common deformities due to poliomyelitis. Correction deformity is very diffcult. Goad is to assess the result of Triple arthrodesis.
Methods: From 2003 to 2013, twelve cases tapies equinus were performed operation by Triple arthrodesis, average time of follow up is 7 year 4 month.
Results: All patients were sastified with their gait, compared to preoperative status, foot is corrected to normal plantigade one, improvement of dorsal and volar flexion. No major complication were encountered.
Conclusion: Triple arthrodesis were effect method in correction of tapies equinus due to poliomyelitis in adult.
