Abstract
Cerebral artery dissection is one of the most common causes of stroke in young adults. Dissection causing intracranial hemorrhage with pseudoaneurysm should be treated promptly and appropriately because of the risk of recurrent bleeding and death. Using a flow-diversion stent in combination with coils is a viable option for treatment, but not much research has been done yet. We report a clinical case of a 39-year-old male patient, admitted to the hospital with a traumatic brain injury, diagnosed with subarachnoid hemorrhage due to dissection of the right internal carotid artery and successfully treated by this interventional procedure.
