Abstract

Objective: Follow up the presence of anti-HLA antibodies in recipients diagnosed graft failure.
Subjects and methods: Retrospective, descriptive study on 09 organ recipients diagnosed graft failure at Cho Ray Hospital from June, 2015 to August, 2017.
Results: Among 09 organ recipients, there were 6 recipients had presence or change on anti-HLA antibodies and 3 rest recipients did not have antibody at prior and post transplantation. The cross-matching tests were recorded negative at prior and post transplantation for all cases above. The correlations on HLA between recipients and donors were almost recorded at 3/6
Conclusion: Preliminary noted that there was presence or change on anti-HLA antibodies in organ recipients at prior and post transplantation. Although these recipients had correlation on HLA and negative results on cross-matching tests between donors and recipients. Anti-HLA bodies identification was considered an essential test to follow up the graft failure.
