Abstract
Urinary tract infections in patients with bladder catheter is a common complication, which raise the cost of treatment and cause adverse to patients. From 1/2012 to 5/2012 in Department of General Surgery, 56 patients were treated by different pathologies and having put the catheter, we have the results: 11 cases (19,6%) urinary tract infection (male 8, female 3). Nursing take important role to ensure sterile technique sonde profile. Know how to put patient care to reduce the incidence of urinary tract infections.
