Abstract
Children under 5 years old with cough and breathing difficulty is fairly common phenomenon in the community, if not detected, treated early and properly will leave serious complications such as respiratory failure, death... After studying 89 patients under 5 years old with cough and breathing difficulty with their families, we found knowledge related to cough and breathing difficulty of families quite well: 93.3% of families know the weather is favorable factors as a cough and breathing difficulty, 88.8% of families know shortness of breath is sign of breathing difficulty, 95.5 of families that know stay warm for children. And condition of all children were better at discharged: 100% of children without breathing difficulty, 100% of children without cough, 100% of children without wheezing
