Abstract

Objective: Assessment patients'understanding and remarking how to take care of the stomach ulcers patients at home. Methods: Our research team carried on the survey of coss-sectional study on 150 patients examined at the Endoscopy department of Hue Central Hospital. Results: Stomach ulcers of patients aged 20-59 are predominant, women suffer from this disease much more than men (56.66%). Patients understand about stomach ulcers via media equipment is 52%, risk factors of stomach ulcers due to diet is 61.33%. The patients know stomach ulcers cause implication of breaking the ulcers is 63.33% and the ways to take care of the patient at home is 83.33%. Conclusions: This study shows patients'understanding about stomach ulcers are very important, it plays an important part in treatment as well as taking care of the patients at home helps the disease improve and avoids application that can occur
