Abstract
We present 2 cases of a 64-year-old woman and a 33-year-old woman with carbon monoxide poisoning hospitalised in the Emergency Department on February 12, 2014, following a fired wood smoke inhalation.
Two patients presented mainly functional symptoms. However, arterial blood investigations showed significant levels of HbCO to intoxication. The status was ameliorated well with high-flow oxygen.
HbCO intoxication is common and dangerous, but it is usually not cared for much by people.
