Abstract
Fracture of the tibial plateau is a challenge in treatment for orthopedic surgeons due to the many requirements in reducing and immobilizing to ensure stability and axial load of the knee joint. The longer surgery is delayed, the more difficult the achieving reduction becomes. Currently, minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis (MIPO) is a trend, bringing many benefits such as a better healing process, decreasing complications, and aesthetics. For complicated tibial plateau fractures and delayed surgery, in order to have both apply a minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis and ensure the surgical goal, many supporting techniques have been born such as 3D printing to plan surgery or knee arthroscopy-assisted to directly observe the joint surface and treat associated intra-articular injuries. We performed and reported 03 cases of delayed surgical tibial plateau fracture with 3D printing and arthroscopy-assisted application, the results showed a good fracture reducing rate, safe surgical process, follow-up 6 months-18 months after surgery showed good bone healing, and good knee function.
