Abstract
Non- Hodgkin’s lymphoma is a group of malignant lymphocytic leukemia patients with complex clinical, histopathological and prognostic features.
Objective: Character evaluation macroscopically and microscopically of non- Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Apply the expression of immunological markers to non- Hodgkin’s lymphoma classification.
Matherial and Method: Through a study on 219 patients were diagnosed as non- Hodgkin’s lymphoma at Hue Central Hospital from 2014 to 2017. Prospective, descriptive, cross- sectional study.
Results: Non- Hodgkin’s lymphoma (NHL) is more frequent in males than in females (1.38 / 1). Mean age of patients was 52.6; The highest frequency is in the people aged between 50- 59 (28.77%), rarely in the under 40. The four most frequent histological types are: WF7 (57.1%), WF6 (19.6%), WF1 (7.3%) and WF5 (5.5%). Most of tumors have grade 2 (77.6%), grade 1 (12.8%), Grade 3 (9.6%). The B cell non- Hodgkin’s lymphoma accounted for 79.5%, T cell accounted for 17.8%.
Conclusion: The diagnosis and classification of Non- Hodgkin’s lymphoma helps clinicians predict the response to chemotherapy, which is indicative of monoclonal antibody therapy.
