Abstract
Objectives: Identify fatal rate of patient with stroke, identify predictors of death in patient with ischemic stroke, identify of death in patient with intracerebral hemorrhage.
Methods: From January 2017 to November 2018,t he descriptive study was carry out in 96 stroke patients admitted to Hue Central Hospital - Base 2.
Results: We have 64 patients with ischemic stroke(66.67%), 28 patients with intracerebral hemorrhage(29.17%) and 4 patients with subarachnoid hemorrhage (4.16%). Fatal rate of patient with ischemic stroke is 9,375%. Fatal rate of intracerebral hemorrhage is 39.29%. Fatal rate of stroke is 18.48%.
Conclusions: Predictors of mortality on patient with ischemic stroke are cranial CT demonstrating midline shift >5mm(p<0.01), Glasgow coma score < 8(p<0.01) and pneumonia(p<0.01). Predictors of motarlity with intracerebral hemorrhage are hematoma volume> 30ml (p<0.05), Glasgow coma score <8 (p<0.01), CT scan demonstrating shift midline >5mm and hypertemperatute of body(p<0.01).
