Abstract
Background: Study of 34 patients, surveying the characteristics, the rate of pressed ulcers before and after application of care measures.
Results: 100% of patients with ulcerative risk factors. Before inhospital, the rate of ulcers was hight (41.7%). Supine position causes ulcers in hight rate, penguin's ulcer was the most common (66.6%). Measures of prevention and care at the Intensive care unit gave good results by improving stages of ulcers, reduced the rate of phase 2 from 35.3% to 2.9% and 47.06% of patients with high risk factor of ulcers and 5.9% of 1st stage ulcers heal completely.
